The treet/concession area in the middle sorta gave off the feeling that it wasn't as packed when you look at it from any one point of view, but if you walked around...

hmmm... the estimates are pretty inconsistent. the news said last year there were 25,000. maybe they said 15,000 i forget. either way, it's a lot less... |

| Civic Center Plaza has a 50,000 person capacity and throughout most of the day it was full...say maybe at any given point it was 40,000 people, but I'd except that tons of people rolled in and out of the area throughout the day....I'd say probably 70,000-80,000. |

!!! love parade was soooooooooo much better this year. god damn! the floats were cooler, the djs were better, there was way more people. good times all around. i spend most of the day hanging out with lee burridge & desyn masiello on the anu22 float. desyn was throwing DOWWWWNNN holy ! that was the most fun ever. i managed to find my way up onto the float and got a bunch of pictures from up top. i'll post them when i get some batteries for my camera. got lots of crowd shots, some floats during the parade, and a pic with desyn :). cool guy and man was he ed up. he kept eating all of our pot brownies and beer, and god knows what else. i went up to him later and tried to talk to him, he said "sorry mate i'm a bit drunk" LOL i was like "dude...you ate my brownies i know your not drunk"
was i the only TA at the PVD afterparty? that was some good !! sucks because i don't really listen to trance that much anymore, so i wasn't feeling it as much. but PVD was throwing down. best i've ever seen him play. 1015 really was crammed up, but i hung out near the bar and it was way better...not as many ed up asian people stepping all over me.
the whole night i assumed that max graham was gonna play AFTER pvd...and he ended up playing at the same time in another room so i only caught about 45 mins of his set :(
ahhh love parade...can't wait for next year!
oh yeah...sorry i didn't make it to the meet up, i was hoping to meet new ta's...but i was waaaayyy too hung over from love lee. that was a a GREAT pre-party.
