and I like rich, can't wait to see him fight here next month.

yea most definetly, rich is a grade-A fighter.... however, Nate Quarry should not be underestimated... even though people think hes over-rated because he was on the "ultimate fighter tv show", quarry is real technical and has some heavy hands... his KO against Pete Sell was unbelievable, and very unexpected.... so i actually say Franklin vs. Quarry is going to be a sick fight.... as for the Hughes fight, i don't think ANYONE in the welterweight class will be able to take him on. Peresian does have some nasty judo throws, but i take hughes all the way, that mans a ing warrior

hughes is gonna be a star for ufc, he is cocky and can win fights. He will definitely be selling a lot of tickets. And yea, I don't see anyone beating him anytime soon.

rich and matt were suppose to fight just like couture and liddell, but I guess rich and matt are good friends and couldn't do it. thats kick ass.

Oleg Taktarov and Igor Vovchanchyn are my 2 favorites... tough as SOB's. Right now my favorite fighter is Andrei Arlovski, been watching this guy for like 2 years, he is ruthless... and he is the Heavyweight Champ now. This has been the guys track record since his last loss:

UFC 55: FURY (10/7/05)
Arlovski defeated Paul Buentello by KO in 15 seconds of the first round.

UFC 53: (6/04/05)
Arlovski defeated Justin Eilers by TKO in 4:10 of the first round.

UFC 51: (02/05/05)
Arlovski defeated former UFC World Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia for the “Interim” Heavyweight Championship by ankle lock at: 47 of the first round.

UFC 47: (09/26/03)
Arlovski defeated Wesley “Cabbage” Correira in the second round with a TKO at 1:15.

UFC 44: (09/26/03)
Arlovski defeated fellow Belarussian Vladimir Matyushenko by knockout at 2:14 of the first round. Arlovski became the first man ever to knock out Matyushenko.

UFC 40: (11/22/02)
Arlovski defeated Ian Freeman by knockout at 1:25 of the first round.

So imagine what kind of fighter Arlovski is if he made him tap in 47 seconds.

I could kick both their asses at teh same time.

:wtf:

hehe, yes, Arlovski has been a dominant fighter in the fights ive seen. Loking forward to his next one.

#1. no one is going to beat arlovski for a longgggggg time

#2. hughes and franklin were not scheduled for a fight, they're not in the same weight class... matt hughes holds the welterweight belt at 170, franklin holds the middleweight belt at 185
Zombie14
oh yea... and watch out for david louissa..... hes surely going to be a star someday, most dangerous elbows in the game.... BY FAR... he'll probabally get a title shot very, very soon

I agree, and if he fought Rico again, he'd murder him.

What question really needs to be asked is:

Who would win

Carl Cox or Arlovski
