So if you're a perfect boyfriend and you treat someone like a queen and she cheats on you, it's your fault? You make no sense.

Hah if a guy treats a girl like a queen I'd be surprised if she DOESN'T cheat/leave. Transporter99 did, and look what happened to him.
Dumbum
You are a ing chump. You got tooled by the girl because of this. It's not her fault she tooled you so badly, its YOURS. Dump her immediately and find another girl. And start BEING A ING MAN.

Just because that happened to him doesn't mean it's his fault. How can you understand according to you, that this is his fault when he did nothing wrong? It's not her fault at all? I'm under the impression that it is her fault. She's the one playing the mind games, she's the one cheating. Telling someone it's their fault is just idiotic. Clearly you have no experience in relationships if you're willing to dole out such advice. From your posts, you're suggesting that treating someone like a piece of dirt is the way to go, and by doing so, in return you will get the award of no cheating. I'm sorry, it doesn't work like that. Your idiocy boggles my mind. I'm done discussing this with someone who needs to be smacked over the head with a pillowcase filled with bricks.

Actually Cal does make a good point. By treating her like such a princess and what not, this guy was basically saying to his girl that she could get away with anything she wanted and he would still be on his hands and knees kissing her feet and heeding her beckon call. I got burned by that and it certainly made me re-evaluate the way I was presenting myself in relationships.

You seem to have a firm belief in 2 things:

1. Nice guys finish first
2. Love comes from magic/destiny/compatibility/something you have no control over/etc

Both these beliefs are false

Transporter99, like a nice guy, made her bed on friday, made her a sandwich, went down on her when she asked him to, and 3 days later she dumps his ass for good. It's pretty safe to assume hes was a "nice guy" throughout the relationship, too. He didn't finish with the girl though did he?

And as to love - most animals on earth have the male courting the female, be it some male birds singing for a female, who listens and chooses the one she will mate with, or some male monkeys who do a mating dance for a female monkey, who then chooses the one who performed best, etc.

Do you really think humans are different from the rest of the animals on earth just because we have opposable thumbs?

We're not. Our mating dance is just a little more sophisticated, that's all.

Maybe once you get some experience under your belt you'll see how I was right. Most guys never do.
