| Hot damn. It came out today and there had been a line since (at least) 630 in the morning... if not earlier (we don't know because clearly no one is going to monitor that). Our store didn't even OPEN until 9 am! Not only that, but in order to buy the 360 you had to buy 3 games with it... that's 700$ or MORE in one shot! We were sold out before the doors even opened. Insanity. :wtf: |

Everyone at work forgot that today was the release date of the XBOX. We got to work and there's this huge line outside of the doors and we're all thinking "wtf? What's this line for?" So we were all going through the new release CD list trying to figure it out and then all of a sudden we saw the sign and though "ooooooooooooh!" Nutty people. |

It's sad and amazing at the same time how successful Microsofts PR was at feeding the public with general bull like "This is the future of gaming", when it's SOOOO not.
I mean, the graphical leap from last generation to this generation isn't even that big (unless you own at HDTV, which you most likely don't cause not even 10% of the US population owns one).

...on an HDTV? I bought one last year for my room. A 27" TV...movies and TV look so f'in good on it, but lately I haven't had time to use it much. |

How much was the Box itself selling for?
I usually wait until after christmas to by stuff like this & take advantage of the after christmas sales ;) |
