The set overall was up and down. More bangers than soft tracks though! Dennis Rodman came out of nowhere with his half-naked self and was dancing in front of Tiesto. Tiesto got mad and left. Then came back 5-10 minutes later. From there the vibe just went down. Offbeats etc.

all these shows are starting to sound more and more like disorganized, horrible sounding circuses than good musical events.... |

Not starting...They are. You see they are trying to recreate those special moments of WMC and Ibiza and its not really coming out right in NYC. Diddy, Rodman, Tommy Lee...all these people have been "partying" with the "gray masses" overseas and the orginizers think that it would be cool here. IT IS NOT!!!! Thats what we should try to get into organizers heads. Its different in NYC and personally I really dont want to see Diddy during Cox's set with his entourage that puts the club automatically over the capacity as well as Rodman (!!!!!) during Tiesto's set. WTF was he doing there? |

| I didn't think it was too bad when PD came out during Armins set. But I think that if it happens repeatedly then it might kinda get old and stupid. Instead, people will be going out just to see which celebrity will show up "next time". Once in a blue moon is cool but if club owners think it is okay to do for every gig then we've got problems. |

i see no problem with celebrities coming to the clubs and dancing. the music's for everyone. but to get up on stage like they mean jack to the scene is insulting.
Tiesto shouldnt get mad though. he (intentionally or not) pioneered the whole dj celebrity thing. oakey started it but he didnt exploit it to tiestos degree (TIC anyone?). so hes kinda being a hypocrite there. on the other hand he actually has something to do with the scene and its music so he has a hell of a lot more right to flaunt his superstar ass infront of us than dennis rodman does.
either way it shouldnt be about the faces or the status it should be about the music and how its being played. death to commercialism and what its doing to the edm scene, I say. |

:wtf: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
I can imagine Tiesto's dutch coming out of his mouth Serge must have gotten an ear full. And TIesto fans stop defending him like he could never get mad. I think you would if you were an acomplished DJ and a washed up NBA freak comes out and dances infront of the booth half naked. It sure is funny though:haha: :haha: |

| i think now its goin to far with those celebs invading the club scene i mean if they come to enjoy it thats fine but when they come in and start actin like their the shyt that pisses me off..... they need to end this mainstream celeb/ club thing :whip: :whip: |
