The Right Wings like to "spread freedom" to other parts of the world ( usually when they don't want to help pay for it, and when it's not their own kids dying in war ) but don't see any thing wrong with a president who is secretly conducting wiretapping on Americans without a court order. That is an impeachable defense, I would like to see how Rush Limbaugh defends that. I'm sure he will, since he has his head so far up Bushes ass. He would have even defended Nixon in his second term. |

Maybe - it's the first I've heard of it, but I honestly don't know. That may depend on exactly what you define as "civil rights" if it's Affirmative Action he ran against, good for him. Anyway, even if he campaigned to bring black slavery, what's your point? Is your implication that Left-wingers have never done anything similarly stupid (like, say, ethnically cleansing an entire country, plunging half the world into a cold war, then completely falling apart after each and every social program went bankrupt)? :rolleyes:
Also, I don't know why you think that most blacks are democrats. There are some very well-known conservative blacks, such as Bill Cosby, Thomas Sowell, Booker T. Washington, Colin Powell, Condoleeza Rice, Walter Williams, Vernon Robinson... the list goes on. In fact many of these blacks are the ones speaking out against airheaded liberal policy, in particular Affirmative Action, because they know they can't get accused of racism (however, they can and do get accused of getting "paid off" by the Conservative movement :rolleyes: ). |
