according to stats, 500+ ppl download sets and videos me and Tyler post here! and according to comments ppl appreciate what we do!
I cannot post these sets in the Music section on the main page. Bandwidth costs money, you know it better than anyone else!
I dont mind posting them in a "Sticky" thread, but as long as we dont have one, and as long as people appreciate MUSIC more than DRAMA, i cannot see the problem! |

I was not "bumping" I was giving feedback. Even you said "according to comments ppl appreciate what we do!". So what - I post feedback and it's "bumping" and others post feedback and it's "support"? Sorry, but the double standard doesn't work.
Stop clouding the situation: The problem is NOT people replying to these threads - the problem is posting a thread simply to post a download URL and tracklist. |

You do not need a sticky thread. You can use the subscription or search functions. That is what the producers do and they actually have something original to contribute.
Is it ironic to anyone that it's the uber-n00bs who are militantly defending these threads? |

I guess the question really is then, if local artists are required to use a forum for themselves what's the diffence between that and someone else posting a live set from an professional / international DJ?
To me if we're going make a stipulation on posting local / amatuer DJ sets then logically it should be no different for the posting of international / professional ones.
(Gawd, this is starting to sound like a CBC/Canadian content arguement :nervous: )
Is getting a mixed set posted by proxy some sort of loophole?
Again in short, if local artists have to abide by the TA rules this should apply to all artists regardless of who does the posting. |

How about addressing the real problem here instead of attacking the person who brought it your attention?
Can you explain to me, without changing the subject, why these threads cannot be consolidated into one? And if you insist that it needs to be a sticky thread for that, can you give us a legitimate reason why? |

no one started attacking anyone lolz why do u keep bringing up the exact opposite of what i have been trying to say in this thread lolz go back and read son for the most part i have been agreeing with RJ sheeeesh
anyways i am done with this discussion. it started out good but now its gone ty. RJ sir i still agree with you for most part as i have said it a few times before. i myself wont post direct threads no more so it keeps everyone happy and if there is a sticky made or a official thread made then good :) |

Nevertheless, 10 new threads in a few days seems indicative of some sort of competitiveness and/or desire for recognition and gratitude. The point is, virtually no one feels any gratitude because these sets can be found in a dozen other places. |
