Roll call threads have specific relevance to the Toronto forum.

Strange, to me it seems like this would be a lot more convenient if it were in one thread. The ordering on the forum itself only indicates which thread was replied to last - however, if all the sets were in one thread, it would be quite easy to (a) scroll down to the posts which were made after the last time you checked, or (b) subscribe to the thread and know immediately when new sets have been posted, as opposed to having to browse the forum. |

Even if I see that thread getting bumped, I have no way of knowing if a set was added or if another "great set" comment was added without first reading it.
Same problem with subscribing - would it not send me e-mails everytime someone replied? Not necessaril everytime someone posted a set.
Lastly, the convenience factor is still there - I have TOTA bookmarked - it will take me all of 0.5 seconds to notice a new set was posted because I'll see a new thread. With one unified thread, I still gotta search throught it, blah blah blah. Plus, with multiple threads I'll know instantly what's available to download, and decide whether or not it's worth it right there. With one thread, I gotta be in some downloading mood to go and check it out. I just think with having all sets in one thread, each uploaded set would get a lot less exposure. |

This problem has equal weight whether you're going by the forum's thread list or one single thread. I see no added value to having them as separate threads here.

So it would take you, what, all of 3 seconds to bookmark and/or subscribe to the "live set" thread, click on the bookmark link and look at the last few posts?
Really, we're talking about a trivial inconvenience here. It's all well and good that you might want to hear about a new set when you're not "in a some downloading mood" but I hardly think that this forum's layout should cater to your menopausal mood swings. :p |

SO?
who are you? Jesus Christ or Angelina Jolie?
If you are Jesus Christ, then Happy Birthday to you!
If you are Angelina Jolie, then nevermind, cause I dont want you anymore!
If you are something else, then why do we have to care? |

Wow.
Vivid Boy was right about this bhatti boy.
Okay, um... yes, I am Jesus. Ye shall obey. Consolidate thy sets into the "TOTA Official Download Thread" - and may the Lord have mercy on your sinning souls. |
