Stereo a really nice place, i found. Really nice soundsystem and all. Big plus for me can buy chips or chocolate bars woot hehe.
Porter put down some nice tunes, but its for sure not one of my best nights out.
Stereobar wicked!
Happy to meet: Stereohead, Anne and others. Happy to hang with alot of the TA's. |

Quality night, I must say! Didn't really know what to expect going to Stereo for the first time, and seeing Porter for the first time, but it was a really nice place and the music was awesome! And I'm sure it was just cuz of Porter, but it really wasn't as blatantly gay as I'd feared!
Music was really good IMO, I love Porter's style! Great vibe in there! Everyone was feeling it from beginning to end! The guy after Porter (no idea who it was) was really good too and it seemed everyone was having a great time! Got to see ENOUGH TA's....Met Anne, Mitsutranza and Ninja, and it was also good to see Erika, Jesteraver, Tag, Lopi, Enjoy, aria clubber, and whoever else I'm not thinking of!
Kudos to Ninja, Erika and Anne on the floor till the END!! Erika up on that box for like 2 hours until they kicked you off haha, you WERE the party!
Overall great night, can't wait to hear everyone else's reviews. |

it was my first time being at stereo, and i quite liked it. we arrived around 4:30 to find it not very packed, which was nice. i just had thought it would be busier. i really liked the vip area...nice to escape from downstairs for a while. but holy crap, coming from a city where you can't smoke in clubs, it is revolting to step into such a smoke filled space. stereobar was particularly bad.
as for porter's set, i've heard much better from him. it was ok, but nothing outstanding. the individual tracks were good, but the programming seemed a bit off. i couldn't get into it until around 7 am. eli wilkie, on the other hand, totally stole the show for me. he was great! loved that remix of "don't you forget about me". couldn't stop dancing for his whole set. super nice guy, too. |

Definately what I expected from porter, highly vibed nrg across the night, open hats wouldnt stop, filter sweeps on the 8th bar of almost every phrase lol, great fun.
I couldn't believe my ears when I heard him spin schumacher's - heat it up and dave - bitch tracks, it's weird to hear the same tracks u spin in a sound system like stereo's, just MINT :haha:

Just got home.
Stereo was madness, Porter dropped some INSANE tracks including remix of Funkytown and Mylo - Muscle Car (Sander Kleinenberg remix).
Got to chill with porter in stereobar,( Drank a load too) then talked to him again after his set in mainroom, told him great set, blah blah. Porter = Super chill dj, very kind and I believe he took a lot of requests. (Funny story, I was trashed @ Stereo bar and asked him to play his speed of sound remix, then later after his set when I got to talk to him again I apologized for making such a heinous request, and he said he almost played it, but decided, and I quote, "I've played the out of that track".)
