Swing to harmony has not reversed vocals and has nothing to do witn Andy Moor or Adam White.

Is funny to see people taking this so seriously to desprestige a track they dont like. Is so poor..

You can like or not a track, but leaves others have their opinion please.

Fair enough, but bottom line, in my opinion Swing 2 Harmony is a poorly produced, predictable, go no-where piece of McProg Cheese that has absolutely no right to be compared to tracks like Aftermath and Silent Wave, which are both phenomenal tracks. The fact that Swing 2 Harmony made it this far and a track like Arcadia was eliminated in round 1 absolutely shocks me, which isn't to say it should be TOTY, but it's got S2H beat by miles...

And, if for all of that, you still want to bitch about me expressing my opnion, then I'll give you something you can't argue with. Swing 2 Harmony was released in 2004, click here for discogs entry, in December on Ultra records... So if anything, I'll take it losing on a technicality for the win... :p

I'm quite honoured to see a track of mine in the finale but the maker of the poll made a small typo. It's 'Silent waves' instead of wave :o

silent wave or swing 2 harmony, so tough to choose...

your track has an amazing sound to it! glad it's in the top 2. most certainly a possible winner.

If this were a TOTY in just Trance, Silent Waves would be the only possible choice... IMO (And I enjoy very little Trance these days) this is easily the best Trance production of 2005... Again, nice work Jonas...

I respect your opinion, but asking people to "please make sure perasma doesnt win" is not the same as give your opinion. And mine is that Aftermarth is the most overrated tune of the year and very very poor for the musical scene. But i dont ask people to not vote it, i think they must vote the tune they like the most.
Gordy
PURPLE HAZE FTW!:D :D

and now, for a personall opionion. why are so many people voting for aftermath??? dont get me wrong it is most deff a ing awsome track, but wouldnt it be more considered house than trance?

Are you serious? You say Swing 2 Harmony is a `poorly produced, predictable, go no-where piece of McProg Cheese`, but you're pissed that Arcadia got eliminated in the first round?! Arcadia is the track you just described, not Swing 2 Harmony. :D

I voted for Swing 2 Harmony.

And personally, I don't see how Silent Waves was the Jonas production in here, I thought Castamara would be in here instead.
Dj XtReMe
Mike Foyle vs. Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk

although i would have to say the best song was DJ Orkidea - Killa [ Dallas Superstars vs Orkidea Remix ]

I really fail to understand how a track like Prya - Aftermath can really get so many votes!

I had to dig it out and listen to it again yesterday and i fail to find how it can even be within 500 mile radius of qualifying for the "Track Of The Year" top-8.

Heck, it's unbelievable!

How can it have more votes than "Tilt - Twelve" or "Kuffdam & Plant - Summerdream" is beyond my understanding.

If it wins TOTY poll, it would be another low for Trance. It would be so embarassing for me to even tell my friends that this track was actually voted as the best track of year 2006.

A serious question - is there a remix or something of Prya - Aftermath that is really very cool or something. I'd love to try that. Cos the original is a long drawn monotonous track with a big drag. No build up, no breakdown, no surprise tune, no attention-catching note, no peaking out - it just keeps going on and on (And no, not like on and on as in Orbital - Halycon).

It's not a bad track or anything but top-8? :(

Anyways, my ranking from the final-8 from the list is as follows:

Perasma - Swing 2 Harmony
Kuffdam & Plant - Summerdream
Tilt - Twelve

Mike Foyle vs. Signalrunners - Love Theme Dusk
Dogzilla - Without You

Jonas Steur - Silent Wave
Purple Haze - Adrenaline
Pryda - Aftermath
