How much would you pay for a PS3

Caught this today:

Long story short:
PS3 is delayed until 07 for launch. Estimated cost is $900.00 per unit, dropping to $320.00 after 3 years....
Maybe I'll get an xbox 360 now? |

| I read an article that says they may be pushing these uber-high prices on the PS3 to get people ready for it. When it is released it will be much lower than expected so people will have a feeling of getting a good deal. |

yeah this is a marketing tactic, also used in taxes and really many social situations (hey can you do me a favor?). |
