beatport is great 100 bucks gets me lots of music vs vinyl, I haven't bought vinyl in years :disbelief

it makes their point less valid? that's like saying a person's post is less valid if it's their first post vs their 10 000 post.
if they are making the same arguements as a long time DJ then it doesn't really matter how long they have been playing now does it? |

I think what I'm saying is a lot of people seem to speak more as fact and as if they have the experience than just by what they've been told or read.
In this specific situation, I think if you're going to state opinions as fact then you need a little more to back up your statement than just have picked up the gear and messed around.
But then again, that's just my opinion, which we all know you'll just throw out the window anyway. |

umm, out of the people that posted in this thread and gave their opinion, i can only think of two, maybe, that have just started spinning and really, i'm not even sure about that so i have no idea who you were trying to refer to in saying "a lot of people" in the first place.
maybe you are trying to say that you have been djing for a long time? |

Then explain, because that previous post regarding people who 'speak more as fact and as if they have the experience' would seem to tell me you don't trust the previous advice, based on your perception of their experience. Am I being too quick at jumping the gun?
