and india and japan

which together account for the majority of asia

Wrong again, Purple. It's very much true of Asia on a large scale (and everywhere, really; of course you're going to be visiting websites in your own language, even more so if they pertain to your scene), but let the regional forum be there for the minority that does use Western websites and stumbles upon TA.

Is that not enough votes already?

Not in India, dont know about Japan.

And you are forgetting Middle Eastern countries that are in Asia.

Lebenon, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Turkey .... they have pitched before for a seperate regional room on themselves.

As someone said before, Asia dwarfs US when it comes to Trance scene.

give the people what they want!

vote or die

i say yes
Porky
i'm definitely FOR

...

at first i think one section should suffice

like how Western Canada encompasses Vancouver, Alberta and Manitoba

but after awhile, when the area gets under way (in a few years) it will probably need to be split up into diff countries [1.chinese (mandarin/cantonese) 2. korean 3. japanese ..etc) like how the USA is right now (chicago, texas, atlanta..etc)

i actually know a fellow TA from chicago who is teaching in japan right now. if such an asian forum existed i'm sure it would have helped him find friends to party with while he was there.

'yes' for me.

for those that voted 'no'....what are your reasons?

fitom tiel
That can probably be altered, in due time. The text part fits other languages (sometimes).

It would be nice if you could get unicode support for the forum, so that we could type in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. I think everyone would appreciate it A LOT! =)
