Asia Regional Forum - Vote here (pg. 8)

I agree though, that one asia forum for ALL of asia may not work too well. If possible, I would suggest maybe 2-3 main sections:
1: South East Asia (incl. Japan/Korea)
2: Middle East Asia
3: India (not sure how big exactly the scene is there, so maybe lump with ME Asia?)
Loosely divided culture-wise also, agreed?
or not...just an idea. :p |

I agree with the main forum creation.
good idea, folks.
but don't get ahead of yourself with the sub-sections.
Like neo said....the asia forum must have good standing before members from a specific section of asia grow in number and THENNNNNN create a sub-forum. |

I think there should be an asian forum on these boards indeed...we are lots of ppl representin asia on here, even tho many of us aren't livin in the area it still should be a specific forum for the asian ppl!! maybe the scene in Asia isn't the most attentive, but yet there is a scene for electronic dance music and it deserves some encouragement instead of being completely ignored...:disbelief :)

i like the idea of the subforums, but i think we should have a seperate subforums for the asian islands (phillipines, indonesia, malaysia, etc ..)
so
1- southeast asia
2- middle east asia
3- asian islands
4- india / china ( either one )
i am thinking about making china a subforum. either 1 of the 2 would probably be sufficient. we should have a seperate vote to see which subforum will be better india or china ? |

Baby steps, I think.
As far as I know, the Asian Forum will be created after this WMC week, for definite.
I think this is the first and basic step.
Once Asian members gather in that area, and convene and confer and what not, we will then probably suggest that different subforums be created, according to the number of members from each country/region in Asia.
We shall see. For now, let's just be comformists and accept an Asian forum. It's a nice beginning.

| im filipino .... +1 for me .... i mainly stick to the western Ta side being from winnipeg....but if there was an Asian forum id mos def hit it up to see whats goin on in the land of the rising sun !!!! |
