Why do the words "American" or "Unites States" bother Canadians? (pg. 8)

I'll tell u that straight up. before I came here, all I knew about Canada was that it had provinces, its really cold, and they have a prime minister instead of a president. Honest to god thats all that was taught to me.
oh and they say "eh" at the end of sentences, which I didn't believe until I heard the border officer say it.
and JAYX1 is totally dead on. we could care less. |

You are so right....Americans aren't taught anything about Canada in school.....we focused mainly on the 50 states in WORLD geography |
