You know that place is a ripoff so you could have done a better job while given some recommendations.

And damn I'm so pissed I stopped going on solecollector. I missed out on the Dunk Hawaii. Perhaps I'll go and score them on ebay. I love the clear sole  :tongue3 :tongue3

i can get them for you for cheaper if you want, i don't like patent leather kicks...GAG im not black enough to rock patent leather LOL

anyways if u want let me know i can find them for retail i think! (actually maybe just resellers price around $140 probably less)

and vintagekicks is the best site for newbs to start looking and get interested in the sneaker culture...besides why would i give out any tier 0 or quickstrike/hyperstrike spots to a public forum LOL

i had a smoke in one hand and a cellphone in the other.. it was the only reason the guy didn't get smashed. really, i was too twisted on drugs and alcohol for it to actually register.

quite the surreal moment, at any rate.

but Nou, don't you see the advantage? if a guy is a shoe-collector he's got more in common with girls, and therefore can strike up an engaging conversation with ease!

plus i think i speak for many girls when i say it's definitely hot when guys have good taste in shoes. ;)

I have had two pairs of shoes for like the last 2 years, they are ripped to and torn up, but they still work so why get new ones.

You remind of the little wigger kids that would read shoe magazines in class, its like holy crap, thats like reading a Victoria's secret catalog, and instead of fantasizing about the models, mind jocking to you wearing their panties.

I regurlaly purchase an urban fashion magazine ( http://www.wadmag.com/ ) and a shoe magazine ( http://www.shoes-up.com/web/index.php )

Hate me now :conf: :stongue: :stongue:

culture shock at it's best...

live in NYC alittle, you'll understand how de-urbanized you are, it works in most gentrified areas...it's similar to a city kid being moved out to a farm =)

wigger kids, mind you i'm an adult with a professional career and gainfully employed enough to support myself and living arrangements in one of the most expensive area's in manhattan, the upper west side. but after you've gone ahead and judged me, I'd like to say thanks for being reasonable...even though you are "nou" your comment has proven to be one of the most irrelevant contributions to this topic but i value your opinion...

I've been wanting to ask you this for a while, and since we are talking shoes anyway - what's the best way to clean a leather shoe (shox classics)? I have a cleaner that works well on my synthetics (i'm not a collector though, mind you, just an avid wearer) but I don't think I should use it on my leather. Suggestions?

ok i won't...LOL but in nyc uhh bums go through garbage and wear used underwear...LOL i ASSUMED THAT! not that I've practiced such myself...LOL.

I can understand why people would steal someone elses sneakers, i mean wearing a certain limited edition sneaker sorta makes you "known" by others who follow the scene. Same thing as if you were a DJ and your dropped the latest n greatest....just with sneakers there is usually a hi-resale value associated with them. I've seen sneakers go for upwards to $1,000 for a pair...and by that I'm not saying some brand new prada sneakers or a designer pair of kicks...

if the sneaker culture interest you at all and you have the least idea as to the monetary value associated with them...check out this consignment place in NYC, it'll give you an idea of what sneakers cost now-a-days..

Not my type of shoes but you could try basic toothbrush with water for starters. There are some dedicated products you could get in spray cans at any shoe store that are made for leather.

East Coast facists, now that's a new one.

Maybe they attack here because this is where everything/one is. It's not too worthwhile to attack Montana, is it?
