What he said - careful guys, jdat is the sneakerfreaker we collectors aspire to be....he's the one responsible for my years of procrastination at work by putting me onto solecollector's forum...i blame his existence for me failing at work LOL! It's alright I have love for the dreadlocks jdiggity...

anyways the best way to clean leather is a cleaning agent (usually comes in foam) and an old rag/sock. For the tight to get areas, a tooth brush and some water with soap would do the job. After each cleaning be sure to water repel the leather (don't over do it meaning soak the sneaker in the repellent spray).

Over cleaning leather will result in cracks from drying out. I clean once a month with a light scrub on almost all my white leather sneakers. I take a tooth brush to the midsole and other areas around the toebox. There's also a way to prevent creasing for those anally retentive about cleaning their sneakers...if you want more information about preventing creases and even removing creases, those processes usually require much more time and patience, wouldn't expect the average joe to committ such time for "a functional piece of equipment" then again, that's the difference between the average sneaker mentality and a collector...

and believe me, any guy who demonstrates his taste in fashion and compliments it with sneakers would more than willingly by his significant other a sweet pair of kicks...so im guessing i let the cat out the bag on that one...find a guy who likes sneakers and he'll end up buying you sneakers...things change these days huh...guys are no longer being dragged to shoe stores, they are going out and copping limited edition kicks for their girls cuz nothing beats having a chick breaking guys necks with the newest and hottest sneakers out there huh LOL

NO.

I hate New York, I hate Boston, I hate EVERYTHING east of the Mississippi, and 90% of the people and places east of the Cascades to the Mississippi.

That's OK, like you said after the Super Bowl, we all hate the Pacific Northwest (well, at least little twats like you that reside there)

You seem quite disturbed over this topic? It's just the internet, i hope this thread and my post aren't getting to you, because i'd hate to see you get worked up over my opinion =)

Then again, I can understand how further west outside of the urbanized city people are taught to be close minded. Your position in this kind of sounds like the characteristics and morals your old fashion parents instilled in you. I hope you're growing up to know that there is more of a world outside of the farm and town you live in. Explore the world, not everything is bad.

LOL REMEMBER I SAID KICKS NOT SHOES! I'm thinking sneakers are more of a fashion statement which they can relate to versus going to the nearest shoe store to look for some 4" stillettos, that doesn't really interest us so please don't be misconstrued! Not all guys are the same just like not all you girls are the same, so lucid, don't be dragging RJT to some shoe store, I'd hate to hear him suffer sitting there looking at womens feet! But I'm sure if u took him to a skate shop or some urbanized clothes store and told him what kicks you'd like he might even offer up a few suggestions and thats how it works...

if not, don't blame me! RJT mybad in advance HAHAHA!

I feel its superior to the rest of the country, almost to a rabid point.

See just click my sig.

hey, i see nothing wrong with people having love and pride for the state/city/country/cardboard box they came from... but there are different ways to express it. you just chose the most idiotic way.

Sorry, I don't live on a farm, I live in one of the most urbanized sections of the United States (the I-5 corridor from the Canadian border to central Oregon is home to almost 10 million great people). Its these views that this area is nothing but hicks and farmers that makes me HATE the east.

So you openly admit that you fall into a specific demographic closely related to isolated regions? And as "connected" as you are to the internet and with the knowledge of how different the world is, you still reaffirm those affirmations which your community has instilled in you? I think those are the words of someone trying to fit that demographic because only those characteristics belong to people in isolated regions. They don't know of the outside world and prefer not to know of it and never formulate an opinion.

I smell a fake hater who blames it on his society to justify his rampage.

And for the record, I'll go and see myself. I'll be up at Amazon in Seattle for business which is known to be a highly urbanized city as well as touring the North Pacific for snowboard season. I'll be at MT Hood to start and probably work my way up past the Canadian border into Vancouver for some Whistler/Blackcomb action
