What do you have to say about jobs being outsourced? Thousands of jobs lost left and right. Im a conservative, but this is just absolute bull - companies like that need to be taxed up the ass for doing something like that. |

Its not true. Although illegal immigrants are ineligible for welfare, food stamps and other public service programs, they can obtain some of them by using false identification papers. It's a big business and not difficult to create an identity for this purpose. |

It's rather funny to hear most of you complain about someone learning English, when some of you can hardly articulate a proper sentence, yet alone, a paragraph.

it's interesting to see people come down so callously on illegal immigrants of latin origin, when it was just yesterday, it seems, that your people came here. so what, now that it's convenient for you, you can look down on someone else? it's wasn't that long ago that you were being looked down on as well. have you forgotten?
Finally, we didn't all just wake up one day and said, "gee, i think i'll go north." The situation in Central America and Mexico are at the point they are right now for a reason, and frankly, that discourse would take too long to establish here on TA.

I have to apologize because I have truth in mouth syndrome but...
no matter how young, or how old - the furthest you will see any of these mexicans progress is unpacking and packing fruit/food and bagging groceries. But you know what, I dont mind, because they pay their dues to uncle sam. |
