Sure, there will be dj's who play that get a very gay dominant crowd but overall I think it will be very mixed. One thing that both gay and straight clubbers alike will have is their love for the space and sound. I can assure you this. The space will also now have appeal to those who are used to an upscale feel as well (Lot332, Century Room, etc.) with the hardwood flooring (which is absolutely stunning), and vip areas available. And with Carey behind the talent coming in, you know the dj's will be amazing for anyone who attends. |
Great to hear, I loved old-Boa and was sad to see it go, but excited to hear whats comming up for Sonic now. Curious though, will this summer see the return of the No Shorts policy? :P |

with with sarah - i dont wanna see policy mandating that you must wear a shirt - i like the way things operated at old boa and how they do at the zone... and usuaully in KH too for all access events! :D

Exactly... I dont see anybody complaining about this at the zone... where ALL GUYS TAKE THEIR SHIRTS OFF, regardless of sexuality... and at Stereo as well... |

the zone cannot be brought up in comparison to any club in this city...the zone is on a level of its own...the zone is a zoo...anything goes in the zone.
sonic is a brand new, and from what i hear upscale style nightclub...not a sunday morning sketchpad.

decadence had tons of sweaty shirtless guys and 90% of them were str8...some clubs allow it and some don't...stereo's allowed it forever and it's not an issue so not sure why it has to be here...sweaty people bumping into you, people stepping on your shoes, drinks getting spilled..not crazy about any of those but that's the reality of some clubs so either you go and accept it or you don't...surprised this is still being debated...
this just in...guv overcrowds...discuss ;) |
