Would you guys be complaining if it was a bunch of chicks dancing around with their shirts off?
Those of you who think the "best" place to dance is in front of the dj w/ everyone else should try dancing on the stage... lots of room with great sound in front of the speakers above everyone able to take in the whole atmosphere... |

| With the people involved in the ownership and promotion of the club, you have to expect the "car wash" crew as you call it to be there every weekend. Expect this and deal with it cause that's the situation. There are a lot of things about my community I don't really like, and that's why most of my friends and I don't go to gay clubs. However with the talent Sonic will book, and the system we will be there. |

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think that anybody is complaining about the sexual preference of the clubs clientele.
I think what people are complaining about is that while navigating about a club (any club), squeezing through the crowd, walking by person after person and getting covered in their sweat.
Face it: Other people's bodily fluids are gross (all people). For most - the more contact with other people's fluids, the more uncomfortable they feel.
If people are not wearing shirts, there is nothing to absorb the sweat (or even act as a mild barrier to their sweat). So when someone walks buy a person not wearing a shirt - you get drenched, because they are usually dripping and if you happen to sweep by and rub someones back by accident - it's even worse (because the usually the absorbent shirt is not there to reduce the moisture).
Now, yes you also get sweat off people who are wearing shirts, but generally speaking it is considerably less.
To wrap this who discussion up: The idea is for everybody to go out, listen to great tunes, have a good time and be comfortable in the party environment. There needs to be a little balance and flexibility for everybody to be comfortable. As long as the balance is there and as long as everybody is respectful to each other - I can guarantee that Sonic will offer one of the best party environments in Toronto.

| Blah...I don't really get bothered by the car wash crew, but I could certainly understand why others would be. Do they all really need to be huddled together at the front? Ah well... the best area is the stage <3 |

Whatever though; as long as the beats are good then that's all that matters. Plus, I can put up with 1/3rd of the night being like that. Towards the end it, when it starts to empty out, it's perfect |

don' hate me now for bringing negativity but One question that popes out to my mind is that how come these people never show up in any other after hour clubs before?
Like i've been to most of the after hour edm clubs and never seen such things! |

lol at those pics.
the whole night i was hanging around the back area where the coatcheck is. so i finally decide to wander down to the front and take some pics of chus&ceballos in the booth.. i look out in front of the booth and i was like :eek:!!! big, sweaty, shirtless men all gathering together.. and i thought to myself 'WHERE THE ARE ALL THE LADIES?!?!?'
....thats when i remembered they were in the back.. and quickly went back there for the rest of my stay. |

IF i were there I'd probably do the same thing.
