lol get the hell out how could you not know it was him? he has like the biggest head i've ever seen! I got a pic with him at the WMC, but all my pics that year were taken with Elod (Shane54)'s camera, a buddy of mine from Europe... he had the camera that weekend and that f@#ker owes me some pics lol...
i have a ton, but won't post them here ;) At ONE party, i was chilling at (this was ONE table): Gielen, Edgar V, Ferry, Armin, Shane54, Ian (redeye), and others... pretty sweet for ONE table at ONE club... i got a pic of me, Ferry, and Armin, all together... and this was when they were "fighting", so that was pretty cool. |

Well..mainly it was the fact that at the time, I had been in the 'rave' seen for barely over a year. Never seen a global headliner spin live, much less expect to randomly meet one in a Virgin Records. Even after he introduced himself I still had a bit of doubt if it a really him or a damn good imposter lol. Like I said, up until then I had only heard his work and seen pics, never seen him live or caught any videos. Just one of those being in the right place at the right time. Had I been in the scene then as long as I have been up until now, I woulda recognized him immediately.
I think he was cool with the fact I didn't recognize him off the bat, I'd probably get tired of that myself.
