Just as background on that room...I went in there with Matthias after our set and Tijs was sitting on the couch. The room was full of good-looking models and there were panties and bras everywhere...had I been in his shoes I would have hauled ass too : )

TIESTO IS MY HERO! I would've been up in that before the last record even finished lol. Na but that's cool man I had a good time bro, thank god I bumped into you. Take your phone with you next time loco!

I had brought it, but left it in the car. Sorry I couldn't hang out afterwards. I really hate having a 9 to 5 sometimes.

here is a link to a short clip of the "love come again" by tiesto

tiesto spun a few good oldies...the rest of the i didn't recognize or care for. Shawn Jackson...good stuff, lot's of energy...remind of me of ATB in some of his harder sets.

well i had a blast dancing in the crowd the whole time underneathe the disco ball. my nephew, his g/f, marcus, rc(who got m.i.a.), melodee, ivy, and myself had a phreaking blast. ran into so many of the old skoolers there it wasnt even funny was kinda  so i cant really rate the set due to that but matt and dave threw e down before that fashion show. nice to see ya edie, matt, and dave.

Lord Corsten
can someone ID the very first track that Shawn Jackson played after Tiesto?????
atxhorn
haha...yeah...any chance of getting shawn jackson tracklisting?
Matthias
This is purely a matter of personal taste but I wasn't diggin the set. The mixing was good from what I can tell but the only thing hard house does for me these days is give me a headache. maybe im getting too old for this. The X-ers seemed to love it so *shrug* :)
DJ Cubano
yeah I agree great DJ really had his down. I couldn't take the hardness for very long.

..well cant really say im Sad to have missed the show..but a trance event is a trance event to attend, diverting your ordinary day from work ..school..and such. I do on the other hand miss not seeing my TA friends..ryan and the crew ( sorry i couldnt make it man )..but since Tiesto acted like a dick to me last time he was at Cowboys..he's been moving down on my list so i wasnt really inclined to go ( + funds ). So if by what i hear he played the usual tracks..then...eh. If he played some better ( and i'm going by the reviews )..it was something new..something crowed bumping, then...*shrugs*. So..to the next event it is. See ou guys there.

I've heard stories about him being a dick but I've met him a total of 3 times now, twice at Cowboy's and he was cool each and every time. He was nice enough to sign a few CDs of his the girl I brought had of his. The only DJ I can say was definitely a dick was Oakenfold.

I haven't spent too much time on the forums lately so I wasn't able to get back to you immediately. It coulda been a bad night for him, everybody has em, but I can also say that he has a reputation for being an egomaniac. You have to take into consideration that these are all opinions.

At the Meridian when he, along with Junkie XL and Armin played I had to go to the backroom to find a power outlet to remove a disc from a cdj 100. (Randall was playing and we needed to replace the CDJ 100s with the CDJ 1000s...randall had a disc in the 100 and needed it back) At the time Junkie XL and Oakey were in the room and I quietly explained the need to find a power source. Junkie got up and was helpful and I politely said "nah dont get up bro I think I see one here" Oakey was like "Just hurry the up and get outt MY vip room." He coulda been joking, but something about that statement just wasn't to neighborly :)

If you are a fan of Oakenfold's work, good for you. He's not my taste, but that's not why I dogged him. I've heard people say Paul van Dyk, Tiesto and Ferry Corsten being rude when every single time I've met them they've been more down to earth than alot of locals I know. Paul van Dyk is a bit reclusive around people whom he doesn't know too well..but he's a good guy. Oakenfold, I've only 'met' him on that one occurence, but from his antics behind the decks he conveys more of a sense of "worship me..the almight Oakenfold!!" rather than a professional seeking to break the boundaries of your standard mixset. Again..that's a matter of taste. He mighta been a good guy when you met him, who knows.

I can say this from personal experience. I've only been at my craft for 5 years, but we are all human beings and we all react to the trials and tribulations of life differently. It may not look like it, but the music industry..even as a DJ/producer, especially the higher up in the chain you go, is an occupation that can bring a load of anxiety. Some people handle differently, some have their good days and bad days. Hell I try to reamin humble and down to earth the best I can because overall I see myself as a good guy, there are days where stress/anxiety/situations or whatever get the best of a person and they can appear "rude".

Bottom line is this, what I said about Oakenfold is my opinion based on that one encounter..but its simply my opinion. I can gauruntee you I have heard similar opinions about Oakenfold. But that's all it is..opinions. Nothing to go up in arms about. 0.02

I'm not sure if you are a pro-oakenfold troll, or what since these two posts are the only two I have seen on this entire forum; but I will let you in on this about myself..I don't tell blatant lies, and frankly have no reason to. What I said was an honest opinion, don't like it..fine. We'll agree to disagree.

As before, I don't have the luxury on being on the forums 24/7 and offering immediate responses..but I don't appreciate being accused of lying. Have a nice life :)
