it was a belgian event called clubland, with yves deruyter, mike, gielen,...
i was pretty hyped up on adrenaline so i kept on dancin' till about 7am non stop (and when i say non stop, i mean non stop). Then we had a 1h30min walk back to the station due to crappy bus services, but when i came into the station i was still "dancin" a bit, couldn't stop movin. When i came home at about 10am i put on some music and kept going till noon, and that's when i fell down on my bed & went to sleep :x |

| first club i ever went to was seeing Tall Paul @ club Avalon in Boston when i was 17/18... i wasn't very impressed... but i knew the scene was for me |

First real club experience involves System F, DJ Tïesto, DJ Stigma and a bucketload of yellow WBs.
First -real- club experience -was- a blast.
Had entered the chemical generation a few weeks in advance and was finally looking forward to checking out the dancefloor for real.
The biggest and most important event organizer here at that time had their 3 year aniversary and it was during may, 1999. (Temple of Love)
Lineup for the evening was DJ Stigma, System F and DJ Tïesto. Of course, ferry went under the name System F when he DJed at that time..
Remember being blow away by the party people.. and remember two undercover cops wrapping up their headsets etc saying the place was already too lost to interfere with.
Went into the lounge, dropped 3 godly tabs and sat around chatting with friends. Suddenly i was being taken far up in the skies. Extreme euphoria, skipping vision, pleasant shaking etc etc..
About 15 mins later my mind was brought back to exreme clarity and a feeling of profoundness. I was ecstatic by any means of the word. Suddenly i heard the people in the mainhall were screaming.. System F entered the stage and dropped Silent Harmony - Save the whales! Place was blowing up. After dancing, making out with random girls and running around telling everyone how much i loved them, DJ Tïesto entered the stage, but decided halfway into the set to spin back to back with Ferry Corsten. They gave the most amazing 99 epic set ever and totally blew away the audience...
Imagine Ferry and Tiesto standing side by side pointing in the air, dropping gouryella at the time it was a fresh release. Hundreds of people were standing shouting like insane.
The whole night was just godly and totally changed my life.
Now of course I'm through with the naive and hazardous partying, but the good memories will always remain. |

The old farts on the board like me will probably list clubs that no longer exist and we'll mention that E wasn't called E at the time and wasn't even illegal yet...

first club experience ever was when i was living back in NY, went to see this latin hip-hop group in Newburgh. i think i was 16 or 17 at the time but my boyfriend and i were friends w/ their manager and we all got there early so no prob.
then about a year and a few months ago i went to my first EDM club, here in Milwaukee, for a CD release party for local DJ David Dominguez. no E's, just lots of alcohol.
now, my first REAL club experience was last summer in August when i saw Armin Van Buuren @ Vision in Chicago. it was the first time i ever saw a big DJ. i called my friend Mike and told him we HAD to go, so we drove down from Milwaukee, got there too early, and started drinking. after like 2 shots of liquid cocaine, a cosmopolitan, a cranberry + vodka, and a beer... i was beyond inebriated. the only things i remember were the end of Armin's set when he stood on top of the DJ booth during his encore (Motorcycle - ATRC) and then came down into the crowd on the dancefloor, and this super hot chick that i was dancing with all night. everything else is a blur. but it was a damn good time. and again, no E, just alcohol.
somehow i managed to do my experimenting with E long before i ever got into electronica music, and i've never been to a rave... so i never rolled at a club or anything. |

| My first clubbing experience was Roger Sanchez @ Bed. Don't normally listen to him but my mates bro was at uni in Sheffield and he invited us out with him. I was only 16 at the time so just getting in was quite big for me. The music was good, got a bit dar abd tribally for my liking in thre middle though, but I had my first propewr clubbing memory when he dropped together-so much love to give and i was in this circle of about 5 people and we were all holdingeach others hands in the air chanting along to it. |

hah good times good times...
my first club experience was when i was 15, i dragged all my friends to this rather sketchy joint now that i think about it. the edm scene was still pretty "underground" and there was a battle of djs type of showdown (mixture of housey,dnb type stuff) i had such a ing blast :p |

my first clubbing experience was Paul van Dyk @ amnesia, nottingham many years ago.. although i wasnt really into things like i am now then. my first real clubbing experience was at gatecrasher in sheffield (back in the day when it was good).. playing was judge jules, max graham, matt hardwick, scott bond and someone else i cant remember... brilliant night!!
it was also my first experience with ecstacy, it was fantastic... they dont make mitsi's like they used to.... |

My first experience was in October last year where I went to Meganite @ The Arches, Glasgow to see my favourite DJ Mauro Picotto, Riccardo Ferri and Gabry Fasano.
The night was unbelievable, the atmosphere in The Arches definetly lives up to being one of, if not, the best in the UK. I was slightly pished but didnt prevent me from having a great time. Tunes were hard as nails and was amazing to finally be able to see my idol :D :p
Cant wait to see Fasano again a week Saturday, same venue ;) |

My first clubbing experience is not worth talking about so I will talk about my first EDM experience.
It was a rave at a club that used to be a bowling alley. I was so amazed at how friendly everyone was to me. The highlight of the night was when I heard Kay Cee - Escape, it just completed the wonderland atmosphere. Didn't take any drugs, but had a blast regardless. |
