WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CLUB EXPERIENCE LIKE?????

hi trancEaddicts, i was just wondering what it was like for all of u when you wnet to that club the first time with your friends.
- remember what music was playimg
- who the Dj was
- did u get hooked up with some E?
feel free to explain, i thought this would be an interesting topic

i've had some mad headrushes off an E! but never got a suck, yet!hehe... first club experience hmm some cheesy place on hayling island 'on the beach' knows who the dj was i was off me nut...but i think it was a good one!

| First time at a club was at Club Exit in NYC last summer. Their resident DJ Tony Draper was spinning hard trance and I was rolling my ass off :D :D |

My first party was on Saturday, November 21, 1998 at the warehouse. It was an Effective party called "The Emerald City" The trance was played in 'the orange room' by OS/2, Dr. Trance and I don't even know who else and the strobelight was kicking my ass!!!! . Massages with A535 and Vicks Vapo-Rub.........being given two cigarettes when I only asked for one.....people forming circles and cheering for guys breakdancing and girls kissing eachother(I was in the front cheering maaaad loud)........ countless offers of fellatio (which I was pre-warned not to accept).......seeing people puke EVERYWHERE!!!... people apologizing when I bumped into them.... learning some weird ass handshake that I happen to still remember 2 years later, and to think by that time I had already missed all the good stuff. OH YEAH, people were actually giving away drugs instead of robbing people. Oh and there's nothing like walking out of an event like that for your first time and seeing pure daylight.

Wow , it was a rave about 3 years ago at the Luxor.
I don't really remember who was spinning because i was so ed from the pills .
Oh yeah i remember Dj Dominic in one of the side rooms.

| hehe, closest ive been to a party has been meow on fridays. weird thing happened to me though, i decided to go to system sound bar one night for the hell of it. wondered why i was paying 20$ to get in at 3am, walked in & find out hybrid is at the tables.. i was there from about 3 - 5 and it was a kick as set.. now im on the search for live hybrid. lol |

I guess they played something like a 8 hour set that night, i missed it because of a stupid birthday party that ended up at Tonic ( Hole except for Wednesdays)

Man this is a great thread. You ready for a good story? I was 20 years old. I am now 28. This night was extremely cool because I was introduced to many different things. For one, acid. Second, jungle, and drum & bass music. Third, an underground NYC rave club called "The Shelter". I had no prior knowledge of what I was about to experience. Up until then I only listened to freestyle, metal, and rock & roll. After we took the acid we entered the club. I had a few glasses of orange juice because they didn't serve alcohol. The music was sort of like tribal dance and the bass started to flow through me. The funny part was that in the music the bass seemed to be moving. Different levels, side to side. It was fantastic. After I felt the effects of the acid, one of my friends and I sat on the floor next to a big giant speaker. The lights, the music, the people were all bugging me out. Apparently, two girls saw that we were tripping face and decided to dance for us. Each of them were holding cigarettes. They were dancing like people do today with the glowsticks. So we saw different things from the lit ends of the cigarettes. They were so good how they danced together and when the lights came on they would freeze in time. When the lights went off they would start dancing with the cigarettes again. Me and my friend went nuts. We left the club about 10 am on the train back to NJ to a homeless man with no legs singing quite elegantly on the train. Quite a depressing end to my first club experience huh. It was a night I still think about today. I sometimes tell this story to my 20 year old friends who on occasion I "E" with to gain this experience back and relive once again :)
PS. My friend is really good with the glowsticks and we are planning one of those nights again sometime next month. So If I finally get my digital camera with mpeg movie mode, I will record him in action and upload it to this site. I read that the owner of this site enjoys that stuff. Believe me, he is THAT good. |

My first club experience was a long time ago, and i'm only 17. It was in a local club and it played pure horse manure, but i was young and foolish, but now i have learned the ways of trance and i do not make that mistake anymore. What the is that about, you'd know its like 2a.m now, i'm talking horse manure.
