Earplugs of any quality should be custom fit, and therefore, already in someone else's ears. |
lol great advice expert..the er20s are great, espically vs $100+ custom ones, which ur paying for comfort and sound, not really better protection. |

I wish Sonic all the success in the world...
The one thing that seems off to me, and that is off quite frequently in clubs is that if you have bought a ticket you shouldn't wait in line.
At Sonic I predict there will be..
a)the regular line
b)the guestlist line
c)the "line where people who know the bouncers don't actually wait in line but just come up and get right in" line
It seems ridiculous to me to ask people to buy advance tickets when buying them doesn't even give them the pleasure of avoiding the lineup non-sense, as mentioned above.
I'll pay $4.28 any day of the week, for residents night or headliners if it means i don't have to put up with lineup bull.
That goes for any club, not just Sonic.
But if they are the first one to figure out a way to get advance ticket holdlers in first, I'll be first in line. |

Its disappointing that ticketbreak is just another way for GEM to make more $$ on the tickets while while creating much more inconvenience for the customer.
Whats funny is that both "companies" had their offices at the EXACT SAME ADDRESS in 04/05 (now the address for GEM is listed as 270 Spadina lol). So paying $5 for the privilege of printing out a piece of paper is outrageous and just a money grab by the people involved with the clubs promotion. Obviously the customers dont care whether they pay 30 or 35 but its a symbol of greed that were not used to seeing in the afterhours scene...I think this was something that separated this scene from more mainstream EDM clubs since we arent used to dealing with this kind of crap. Because of that I can understand why people would be upset even if they still intend to go. |

How long have you been partying, a year?
Money and greed have always been a part of "the scene". Whether it was a bunch of people throwing a party, or your friendly neighbourhood bikers/triad/mob offering security and a constant supply of discounted narcotics.
Afterhours has been around a lot longer than that blip on the night radar that was raves. |
