I couldn't agree with you more Jon...
I'm excited for the opening of sonic and the comments I have made are based on experiences I've had all over the place, and most noticably at this is london.
I don't expect them to be perfect, nor would it keep me from going there, but if they could improve on some of the things other clubs are bad at it would give me all the more reason to go there. |

^^ The above seems to imply that ER-20s (to use as an example) are of a lacking quality, which they clearly are not.
Though obviously custom fitted ones would be even more effective... but ER-20 are already HIGHLY effective - unlike say your 1$ foam ones which have no attenuator and often fall out and in fact muffle and distort the quality of sound quite badly.
To says that a pair of non-custom fitted earplugs such as ER-20s are not of "any quality" simply isn't true, IMO.
