When ur a crazed addict like us, its harrrrrd no matter who's behind the decks :(
I hate the law coz im a smoker but I understand that its beneficial for the general good...but PAYING again just coz u had to step outside and smoke? That's ridiculous and by the time Preach comes around, I really hope they revise that.......bracelets? stamps? its not so hard...

what excpetions are those? Our afterhours clubs let us go outside to smoke with closed in areas that are secured. I wouldn't really say it is an exception. And in Guv, ppl still do smoke and if caught inside you either get kicked out or told to put it out depending on the bouncer you get. But then again Guv is way more packed at any given time then Aria is, but if Aria were smart about it they would find a way to make it work.
Either way, does this mean you aren't gonna go out ANYWHERE now? So not to a restaurant, or for coffee, or anywhere where you can't smoke?
This is all still so very new and it is something you will all get used to. We'll see where everyone still stands in a couple of months from now. You will adjust, it isn't THAT difficult kids :) |

the only way would be to have a closed off smoking area...they cant let people in and out at afters...they would have to hire 20 new bouncers to search everyone who wanted to smoke.Im not the only one, this will have a huge impact. |

then give us a secure area...and no this wont stop me from going anywhere.The afterhours are the only places you arent allowd out and back in...Restaurants,bars,coffe shops all have doors without full searches upon your return.;) |

Seriously, even when I was a smoker I didn't react like this. I still went out and I still had a good time. It didn't change me whatsoever. I am glad that I have officially quit smoking though and the bans in places are good for me so I am not tempted to smoke when out drinking with everyone else smoking around me :D |

i did not go out because it is now smoke free.
but we honnestly find amazing, you get out and don't smell, plus you get to see all the honies at once (outside in front of the door) hehehehe |

Where are the locations for all your afterhours clubs? They can't all be like Aria where it is gonna be harder for them to make an area outdoors for this.
You guys need to give it time. Club owners will find ways to accommodate you. This only just happend what 3 days ago? You aren't gonna see the changes happen immediately. And bitching about it isn't gonna get you far. It didn't do anything in Kitchener or Toronto for that matter, so it isn't gonna work for you either :p

Jenn im not bitching, just making a decision...its not like these places only found out about the ban 3 days ago.Its been common knowledge for over a year.Not going to afterhours is not the end of the world for me considering the older i get the less i go.When i see a guest dj light up in the booth, im will go a into a withdrawl junkie rage and go romper stomper.Its actually better that i dont go:P |

OK, make a smoker's area outside where there are 2-3 bouncers watching..or just do a closed off section inside...something...
PS: the DJs (smokers of course) themselves will be pretty pissed about this as well
