| I missed out on them...it's a little disappointing...but I'm sure the EDM partiers 5 years from now are gonna say the same thing about our era. As much as I wish I was around for them...I don't think I'd want to be partying when I was 12 haha! |

I had this talk with my manager the other night about this ...
Raving changed me forever! I was such a negative person and had so much hate inside. I was so unhappy for many yrs. Finaly I went to my first rave and did a blue euro, which had 180ml of MDMA. (ppl offered me so much money for that one pill, i didn't realize how importaint that pill was, until a few weeks later) Everything negative left me from then on. I can't even explain it, all that that was on my chest was finaly done with. Without raving & partyin' I wouldn't be who I am today. I wouldn't have never gone back to school and had the motivation / hope for life.
Here is the little story why I went back to school. At the Effective rave @ the Warehouse. It was the first death of 99, some kid ODed. Everyone got booted out and the party shutdown at 7am. That's why raves had a kurfew after this day. I was licked out of my ming and the sun was blazing! Looking at all the ppl leaving and the medic crew parked out side working on that kid. Right then, I realize I had to go back to school. I dropped out of high school for 5 yrs.
Like my manager said ... something so positive and also negative will change your life, from this scene. |

I started in 99 and still going on. It all depends on the person and if they will grow out of it or not. I'll be honest with you, if "E" today was like it was back in 99, I'll still do it every weekend. B/C it was really clean and no sketchyness at all.
I haven't done any drugs for almost 6 yrs now. |

I do.
However, I got over it. I think things were probably way too over hyped.
Everyone who goes to a party has a different experience. You've all been through it before, you probably went to a party had a time, but come home to read everyone else had an amaaaaaaaaaaaazing time.
I personally think I wouldn't have found it so great to begin with.
That's my thoughts on it, anyway. |

True saying, but still you can find Pure MDMA powder which is the same thing as 99...
the reason you stopped can't be the quality of pills..i think it's more about maturity. |

Naw it was the "E" for sure ... I did some after my supplier retired.(I had the top of the line hook ups back then, this dude supplied every azn dude in TO)Then I realized how ty it was and this was the normal the general public was using and I just gave up with it.
The next momment that changed my life in the scene ... was BAD BOY BILL @ Industry. First time I ever partied sober and had just as much fun as my first time dosing.
I can go on and on about my raving career and all the good and the bad I've gone through. Like I said in my earlier post ... Cherish what you have and what era you came into, b/c things change and it will never be the same. |
