| I dont have a particular wine because Im not such a big connoiseur... but as far as generality, I prefer 2003 & 2004 Sonoma Coast Wines and 2003 & 2002 Russian Valley Wines. |

Montes 2003 Malbec Reserve - Chile
Trapiche 2003 Malbec - Argentina
Stonehaven Shiraz (can't remember which year exactly) - Australia
Torres Sangre de Toro - Spain
those are my 4 favorites that I can think of off the top of my head although there are more that I like too.... |

Shiraz is awesome...haven't tried or dun remember trying the others |

| one thing i could tell u is that white wines dont get better with age, thats only with reds. theyre only good for cooking |

Thats actually not true, there are whites that age. Its all about the fruit/alcohol consistency, its no different than the reds.
Cooking wines are particular, you cant just take a white off the rack and use it to cook. :p
Pink, as far as whites... Napa Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley (as well as Sonoma Coast and Williamette Valley for Pinot Noir) seem to have the top rated stuff lately |

my favourite is wolf blass yellow label riesling, i forget the year, but i love it!
also chateau ste michelle (washington i think) makes a nice sauvignon blanc.
i have a few others in mind, but i forget the names.... |

Penfolds Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is really, really nice
It's either from Koonunga Hill or Rawson's Retreat...can't remember which one. |
