not sure how you can get up to 2 glasses and not want a third. Usually by the end of your 2nd glass, provided you aren't drinking by yourself, the bottle SHOULD be empty. A group of 4 can usually go through 3 bottles over dinner quite easily =P

Thanks Kid & Nachos for the recipes. They will be utilized :D

I actually went out on a whim and told a friend I'd buy a case of Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse 2004 or Macon Village (table Chardonnays) It's cheap because his restaurant is having a special on Jadot wines for the month. Because of an employee discount, he says I'll get it for half price. I figure it beats out the summer packs of Red Stripe?

Agreed?

'Lightly touched with Oak' !!! Now I'm excited :D I've read some reviews which gave 3/5 stars. I'm not too picky. In fact I'll just load them in the fridge :stongue:

and give some away to family/friends. Actually no, probably not. haha

those are my 4 favorites that I can think of off the top of my head although there are more that I like too....

I really liked Sangre de Toro. So much in fact that I've kept the cute gold bulls around the neck of the bottles. Nerd!

for the 2002 Brancott Sauv Blanc Reserve. It's like sucking the juice from a grapefruit, with subtle acidity. Coessential for summertime. I think I'll get another bottle tonight:wtf:

Edit/ in the July 2006 Food & Wine issue, theres about a 10 bottle selected list from the F&W Grand Tasting Pavilion in Aspen.
