Are you talking about depo? DO NOT GET IT!!! I've heard nothing but HORROR stories from people who took it, including my sister...who hasn't had a period since she stopped taking it....4 YEARS AGO. |

wow...sketch...a friend of mine got it a few years back, and she didn't get her period for 3 months (like you're supposed to), and then got it for 3 months STRAIGHT. it's one thing to take hormones a little bit everyday, but not a huge shot of them all at once.

i also agree, i could never take the pill. i dont like putting all those hormones in my body and the whole manipulation of what is a natural process. although i do see the use for other purposes, such as no cramps and to be more regular. i guess if i had those problems i would probably think differently.
i think those other forms, such as getting your period evey 3 months would freak me out. i would get a little freaked out if i didnt have it for 3 months. :nervous: |
