KIEV (Reuters) - A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.
"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.
"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."
The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks. |

good read...but I'm puzzled at the relevance of that unnecessarily harsh comment and your agreement with it. Sure, people have opposing political views...but to "despise the Liberals for what they've done to my country"?

Remember now, it 'pretty much sums it up' but after all the things that the Liberals have already done, and that we're STILL finding and cleaning up after, why wouldn't I be a little pissed? (Any Canadian should!)
The legacy of course continues with Liberal Party leadership candidate Joe Volpe's odd donations (including thousands from several young children of drug company executives) but this is another debate... :rolleyes:
The Liberals laundry list of distain is just getting longer by the week it seems, but to leave Canadians to the point where we are literally in mortal danger should raise anyone's hackles. |

This morning as I was driving to work on the 401 towards Brampton and pleasantly enjoying my Tiesto CD I was distracted by 3 police SUVs with lights flashing behind me, they were driving quite fast and everyone was getting out of their way. As they passed me I looked over and saw they all had EMERGENCY TASK FORCE whritten all over them. I got a little nervous/excited thinking that something might have happened and those guys were off on a mission, and then I saw this on the news...
