Yes they are obviously muslims... but we are missing the point here.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK AND DERANGED. JUST AS SICK AND DERANGED AS THOSE CHRISTIAN EXTEMISTS THAT BLEW UP OKLAHOMA.
The problem here isnt islam. Its religion in general.

It doesn't bother me specifically...I'm just trying to explain why it bothers others...other who don't really see the point for it and see it as an additional cost and inconveniece to them...I think the question is how far can you push it out of principal...but I do feel that it is a bit crazy. If you ask me personally I'd rather have them all in their little room rather than in the middle of the floor as I saw it once at one place i worked at or right in the middle of Finch subway station...it's rediculous to a point. |

EXACTLY. You're in our ing country, you have to learn and ACCEPT doing OUR standard way, same as if we were to emigrate to YOUR country!
That RCMP one in particular! , deal with, for this profession you have a very specific, set and long-standing uniform code. CONFORM TO IT, or accept the ing fact you cant be apart of it!

Oh boy...not at all...I just don't really want to see it and trip over some guy in the middle of the office building (as I actually almost did).
Put yourself in this "scenario"...you're a typical canadian guy born and raised, you get a good job working in a great company and all of the sudden some guy comes from county x and he tells you or your boss - I need a room to do my prayers. So the boss has to go to you and tell you that you have to move - quite possibly to a crappier area cause we have to accomodate this parying room now. I don't think you'd be all that excited about it in all honesty, specifically if it seems silly to you. And it may not seem silly to you but I will guarantee that to A LOT of people it does seem silly.
The thing is, it's a very very sensitive issue in Canada and nobody wants to touch it or deal with it for an obvious reason.
But I certainly agree with Malek - the guys with the daggers, certainly some hassidic jews, and lots of others that come here and for some reason think that we must now change the world for them. And god forbid you will refuse something you'll get sued or accused of discrimination and it'll be a severe damage to your reputation (business) |

No not at all...the guy pulled out a mat right in the middle of the station, kneeled and started praying.
Hey I'm not against praying but why should I have to walk around you in the middle of rush hour or have to see that...that's why I say the room is better but I still agree with Malek's points. |
