yeah...zidane has a reputation of a hothead, but honestly this is just a little blemish in his storied career as arguably the greatest player of his generation

The celebration in Little Italy afterwards was crazy!
I got sprayed with water and champagne a few times.
The cops seemed to break it up around 7:30 pm, which is when I left, but the revelers may have regrouped afterwards.

Bars in and around Little Italy were packed! Lots of people were watching from outside, through the windows.
There was a big outdoor tv screen that showed the game early on, but for some reason, they had to shut it off. |

before the game? i sense it is very possible... the
french controlled the game 80% of the time keeping
the ball among them on the side of the italians, the
victory does not feel absolute "no tiene el elemento
de gloria total y magica" |

omg sooo stupid. that annoys the ing out of me.. god, get me sooooooooooooo mad. LET US PARTY GODDAMNIT!!!! STFU STUPID POPOs!!!! i hate the ing 5-0...
btw, that vid of zidane is HILARIOUS. im dying to know what the was said to provoke him also... too bad, i really love zidane too :( |

bro u cant b serious.......... Zidane the humble person that he is only did this because he was provoked and i can only think of 2 reasons either the player was givin him racist comments about him or his team mates or he was talkin shyt about zidane's mother who is in very bad condition, his reaction was normal i think anyone would've in snapped after such a horrible comment, of course no one wanted it to happen and throughout this whole game we were dominating the italians!! and yes they were cheatin and playin DIRTY!! its only when it came to the shootouts that the italians got lucky which doesnt really decide who the tru winner is...... no matter what though i believe France played very well and in my book they are #2 i dont see anyone else out there who got to the finals like we did !! |

| Oh man Little Italy looked NUTS, I wish I was there... We had some kick ass celebrations around here in Jersey too though, tons of us Italians over here too, but oh man I never even thought to go watch the game in the city. Woulda been sweeeet |
