first of all, i dont drink beer. secondly, i dont listen to trance. thirdly, what are your grounds are USA's utterly pathetic match against CR? god lord boy, know how to pick your battles! give me 5 good reasons (and not in the form of players) that USA has a modicum of a chance against italy. italy's always a favorite and has always had a very strong team..behind eating pasta, football is our national pasttime.. ffs.. |

| so far, in the brazil-australia match...austrailia's been impressive holding their own against a brazilian team that doesn't seem to be taking this game seriously |

exactly. maybe you should eat your words, southbound, since you think u're so almighty. puhlease. come join in the World Cup forums if you know so much about it. actually no, people with comments like that annoy the out of me and everyone else posting in there.
US played a good game but they also got verry lucky. i admire their effort very much and willingly admit that the italians were not on par because they're arrogant as . |

| I definitely disagree that the U.S. team was lucky. They were playing with 9 vs. 10 men and held serve and really was more of the aggresor until that 2nd red card. Too aggressive obviously. I don't think other countries just expect to win against the U.S. anymore (thus being too arrogant). Would we say Ghana got lucky against the Czechs considering they should be the underdog? Well, they might have less talent but they played better that day. That is the nature of the world cup. |

Unlucky having a terrible ref favoring the Italians (or at least being too part of the match). Even if he was right in his calls, he allowed the game to get too rough in the beginning and then decided to throw out guys later.
An own goal is bad skill. Shouldn't have kicked it in the goal. Set pieces, shiznut can happen.
Anyway, now I got to root for your boys. |

dude you have to be kidding me!! no offense... but srsly.. autogoal has absolutley nothing to do with skill.. it was an accident..
the ref was preventing the game from getting too rough BY MAKING the calls that you're deeming bad... didn't he kick out de rossi and pope?! they were stirring up some major trouble and absolutely deserved to be ejected.. but as the 2nd half, there was some obv. calls he missed out on but knows why.. that's why they call him irregular.. his calls were fine.. just bc he red carded mastroeni, the ref was favoring the italians? nah dude.. if u were paying attention in the 2nd half, he was missing calls left and right from both sides.. PLUS italy also got yellow cards given to zambrotta and totti.. i think u need to rethink ur perspective meng... |

| I'll never understand why people born in the United States would rather see the United States lose... You're born in America, and last time I checked, that makes you an American, not German or Italian or whatever else. But, to each his own, I guess. |

^ i grew up literally torn between two cultures-- with my friends i was american and with my parents it's a totally other side of me. and in this case, i followed in my parents' footsteps with soccer i suppose. dont really have a reason.. i support the US as well.
but, u know, it's not necessarily about national pride shamee..do i Have to support US just cuz i'm born here? :conf: what's wrong with rooting for ghana?
btw, i'm also rooting for germany after italy :p :toothless |
