so if a second yellow is a guaranteed red, how is that not a red card? :conf:

thats obviously not the only reason. It was a challenge that didnt warrant it #1, and #2 the fact it was so early obviously shows no intent to be recklessly challenging.

edit: he touched the ing ball man, it wasnt that late.

I didnt see him touch the ball and I personally think (and so did the ref apparently) that he did not go for the ball. But I could be mistaken, I want to see that replay..

soccer is ok but two things just turn me off.

1. the flopping has to stop. its just gay falling down in agony and getting up 2 seconds later as if nothing happened. whats up with being carried off on stretcher and then running back on the field? man up and stop putting on a pity show losers.

2.games allowed to end in ties is bull.

i can't help but giggle a little when they all hug each other after a goal. i kept waiting for one of them to bend over and start doing it. lol

It got played quite a bit here. He absolutely got a piece of the ball.

Right, the 2nd paragraph is exactly what I'm talking about. If the ref decides to give someone a 2nd yellow card they are effectively giving them a red card and sending them off the field. This is my point of contention.

No not really mate. That sort of attitude doesn't really cut the mustard for me. This is the best chance in over 40 years that we have of winning this, and all I see is it getting pissed down the drain by a wanker who doesn't know what he is doing. The sooner Sven s off the better.
