I'm so happy to come back home, after a long trip, and find out that Korea didn't lose. But I wouldn't say they're underdogs: They might not be the strongest team around, or the most talented one, but they've been consistent in both this world cup and the previous one.
However, more importantly, there's no team as passionate as the Korean squad. They're warriors, and you can easily see them toring their hearts out in faith and despair, trying to kick a tiny meaningless ball into a heavily guarded net. I'm sure that, if the world cup were to be played as a war, the South Korean team would make William Wallace look like a wimp. Chuck Norris wouldn't stand a chance against them. And, in all fairness, not even a national team that won a world cup 8 years ago could beat them.

It was quite nice: I've been to São Paulo before, and I really like the city. It's a shame I was in a hurry there though - I just wandered around the city with my girlfriend and friends, took an exam (we all sucked :p) and went back home :p]
And no problem about Korea, it's just fun and games :) |

It was - you've got no idea of how chaotic the metro system was because of that, as the gay parade happens in São Paulo's most important avenue.
Strangely though, other than lesbians holding hands, and a guy wearing a tiger costume, I didn't see much of what happened :/ We weren't that far from the parade, mind you. |
