Hopefully Australia's thuggery can rattle those little Japanese guys up a bit. A few solid double-legged slide tackles should halt any thought of Japan trying to run the Aussies off the park :)
With double-legged slide tackles: 1-0 Australia
Without double-legged slide tackles: 2-0 Japan |

Can Guus pull it off again? :)
I don't think so, South Korea had a far better team than Australia currently has.
0-2 |

Japan has a great team, but Kaji isn't playing. Nakamura is a stunning player to watch at times, and I hope Hidetoshi Nakata can pull out a good game today.
But exactly like yesterday, it's going to be very hot and hard to play nice football. Hopefully those can keep up with the good play.
I hope Japan plays as well as they've done in those friendlies. Could be interesting to see how they will play against the bigger teams.
But I'm not sure they will win this game, Guus Hiddink is a true genious and can pull on a upset here. Doesn't matter how much I like the Aussies, I'm still going to root for Japan.. |

| Although I have Aussie family, Hide has been at bolton, so I've got to hope he has a good game. He was just picking up the premiership pace late on in the season & I hope we can do a deal with fiorentina for him |

| originally I thought this match would be a draw 1-1. But because Australia has Hiddink's magic I'll put them as favourites, a 2-1 win for the Aussies :D |
