In an interview, Hiddink said if the Aussie team beats Japan, that's gonnna be his present for Korean fans. And the team won :)

in the end, the 3-1 flattered australia, japan weren't that bad & had cahill's tackle been deemed a foul (and a 2nd yellow card followed) it could have been so different. A good game to watch overall.

Haha, well we've got no chance of beating Brazil, but all we really need is for your boys to trounce Croatia tomorrow. A 4-0 win and Australia is a pretty good chance of getting through to the second round. :)

We're going to do our best :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the full lyrics to "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie":

AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE!
(OI, OI, OI!)
AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE!
(OI, OI, OI!)
AUSSIE!
(OI!)
AUSSIE!
(OI!)
AUSSIE, AUSSIE, AUSSIE!
(OI, OI, OI!)

It's completely atonal and the there's no rhythm to it beyond what's written. Any other questions? :p

:stongue: :p

Actually, I've got another question: is there any Aussie radio station broadcasting the matches on-line?

I was in a cab for the first 15 minutes of the match and the only station I could find broadcasting it was this one:

http://www.sen.com.au/

Just a warning, though: their commentary is ing terrible. ;)

Cheers, mate :) I just want to listen to the accent a bit more often, so no matter how bad the commentary is, it would still be useful :)

Japan will need to upset Brazil or Tie them if they expect to have any chance heading to the next round.
