The czech is a team that can win the worldcup. I'm surprised people have labelled them underdogs.
For the past 4 years we have seen them play a very organized and attractive football. They were unlucky not to win euro2004.(which i had put money on them to go all the way..but i'm doing the same this world cup!!!:D |

the giant is (seriously) injured. :(
czech rep won't win the world cup, altho they were indeed the best team of euro 2004 and deserve a cup by now. especially without koller and with baros recovering from another injury. |

Czech Republic is playing phenomenal football.
Grygera has been fantastic in the first half, while Rosicky and Nedved are playing very good at the midfield. Galasek deserves a lot credit for his hard work on the middle.
Jan Koller got injured, it's really sad to see such a player get injured. Unfortunately, that happens a lot these days. Quick recover now Jan, all the best for you.
A little credit to Reyna and his teammates defence, they're doing quite ok even though they've let in two goals. Also, theyr'e playing great with those offsidetraps from time to time. Reyna was close to score, but didn't, shot in the post. So, this game could've turned around if he scored maybe, Don't think so though.

They're definetly playing well.
But there's so much things that has to come together if they're going to win the whole tournament, and now with Koller injured, it looks rather bad for them.
Lokvenc is a great player and I hope he gets to show himself up in the second half now. |
