Well when you come out and play timid and not have the ability to counter quickly that is what will happen against one of the best teams in European football which no one can argue. If they don't come out and be ready to play against Italy by attacking from the start they will be further embarassed. They didn't make life hard for the Czechs today on the counter, but I watched the U.S. in friendly's leading up to the World Cup and saw how slow they countered. It annoys the hell out of me.

what's that have to do with anything? so, the president calls them to wish them good luck, big deal:rolleyes:

we all know their pregame preparation was watching cartoons and eating chips:stongue:

Make that 0-8 for the U.S. on european grounds. That goes to show you that being ranked 5th in the fifa standing doesn't mean jack .

Cmon any knowledgable football fan knows to throw that ranking out into the garbage heap. No one takes it seriously unless they are clueless as to the actual structure of the different football confederations of FIFA. BTW Argentina looks ready that's for sure.

You're right but i stated that for those that believe the fifa standings.I never go by not nor by the friendlies played before any World Cup.As for Argentina being ready I really hope they pick it up a notch vs Serbia.Messi and Tevez need to see some action.

Im going for Argentina, but they will have to turn it up another notch...their next two matchs will be much more difficult.

so, No. They are not ready after their subpar performance vs ivory coast.

Argentina should be fine they turned over the roster and did what was needed to get more younger and get off to a good start in the tournament after the shocker of exiting in the 1st round in Korea/Japan, won't happen this time.
