Not a bad game for us, but as Capello pointed it out, we really played very slow at times, apparently the pitch was the one to blame, but still, let's hope we start creating more spaces when we control the ball.
Interesting conclusions though, Raul better step up or he will start watching many games from the bench, Capello said it was only because Raul had played with Spain and all that, but his lack of final touch is starting to piss off every Real fan. Salgado is no concern or so it seems as he walked off the pitch on his own, let's just hope it was the pain of the moment.
Emerson and Diarra are understanding eachother a bit better but another question will definately have to be answered next weekend, what's gonna happen when Ronaldo is fit to play, is Capello playing them both at the same time, and if so who's sitting out?.
My last and more serious concern is about the goalkeeper, Casillas has not been looking sharp at all lately and this last goal is yet another proof. Something must be bothering him because I'm not used to see these ups from him. If he's not on top form right now, perhaps Diego Lopez might get more minutes in the next matches... However this wednesday vs. Lyon, it is a very important match in terms of gaining confidence and re-gaining that respect in Europe, that seems to be shattered, so I doubt Capello is even questioning Casillas starting position for the moment.
In the end, 4-1 vs a team that perhaps has a better potential and will cause more problems to other teams in the future. A good win for us today.
As a final note, lol it's just too funny to see the amount of hatred around this forum against Real... :stongue: |

sadly this is true, I really like Ruud though , sure he missed some oppurtunities but he also converted some unlike Raul |

I can't understand why you insist on saying that Ruud had to score more. 3 goals finished the game for Real, and he had a great game imo.
Good win. Let's hope we can build on it... |

French League is pretty interesting from time to time, but I would rather watch the Spanish League who's even better now, than last year. |

| Yeah, Madrid isn't doing right passes, the defense is weak..Lyon is dominating the game completely tbh..Casillas has saved our asses from 2 other sure goals. |
