Pepe: The €30 million waste of space. His performance on Sunday reminds me of his name-sake:

| Le Pew has some more cover now: Heinze to Real for reported £5-8 million. Who would've thought they could actually buy a player without excessively overspending? Saviola <- the exception |

| Arjen Robben finally in Madrid for 36M |

Cicinho to AS Roma for 8M (i think letting Cicinho go for only 8M is even dumber than paying 30M for Pepe)
Belleti to Chelsea 5.5M |

Pepe: the self-proclaimed best defender in Europe, two, three years ago - can't really remember when he stated that |

Well that was a pretty big win. Villareal didn't play all that bad, just Real capitalized on almost every opportunity. Sneijder was amazing though, and Guti also impressed me. I wonder what the first team will look like when Robben & Higuain are back from injury.
Oh, and pure class from Raul when handing over the captain's armband to Guti. Gotta love him, even if he's been below par the past few seasons. |

| Why did Sneijder have to pick those s to play for :( |

| Impressive game by Real.... Every plyer played perfectly this game (except maybe Drenthe who was weak defensivley whn he was playing as left back)... Its really good to see Raul back on track! Sneijder was great, and Guti, proving that there should be no debate about his position in the starting 11. I would've loved for Drenthe to score on that last play, it would;ve been an amazing goal. Hala Madrid! |
