I've never understood why Real Madrids managers after Vincent del Bosque is starting with Guti. He never makes anyone happy when playing and I believe Jurado would've been a lot better in the position where Guti has had a million chances.

Luckily you sold Jurado to us, and now he's developing into a good player.

Raul hasn't done for 3 or 4 years now and should be dropped, doesn't matter how big he is.

Couldn't agree with you more, Raul's era is over, has been over for that period of time already... I still don't understand how coaches don't see it. Running like a headless chicken around the pitch is not playing football.

Although Jurado was sold to Atletico, there's a clause (sp) that says that we can still buy him back next year for the 2008-2009 season at the same price he was sold...

Guti has had his moments, but most of the experts agree on one thing, he's no leader and every time he is given the chance to be a starter, he just falls under the pressure. He is a great player coming in as a sub in my opinion, and his performances over the years have proven that... I think he will be leaving Real next season.

I've never thought the right decision is to buy new and expensive players who's got a lot of status. That's been Real Madrids biggest problem the last couple of seasons and ever since they last won La Liga.

The right mixture of players has always been the main factor why some teams really develops their game. Real Madrid on the other hand seems to be thinking more about shirt-sales.

I don't really understand why they have to spend fortunes on players that'll never adapt to Spanish football in 3 years. Why they keep on buying players for hundreds of millions without really thinking if they'll fit the teams.

The best prospects I've seen at Real Madrid so far is Torres and Diego Lopez, maybe De la Red. There are clearly young hungry players who wants to evolve and get better, play for their team and for their fans, That's essential.

I know about the clause on Jurado though, will be interesting to see what team he'll choose if Atlético makes it to the UEFA Champions League this year.

Tonights Copa del Rey return leg at Santiago Bernabeu was absolutely fantastic!

Real Betis made it through to the next round of CdR after Danis goal which he scored in the 37th minute of the game. Robinho opened the goalscoring and the game was sick in the end!

The last 7 minutes of extra time was phenomenal with more than 5 chances for Real Madrid to score on, but somehow Real Betis made it through! Ramos had like every single chance, and a bicycle kick which he shot over the goal. Even Robinho had an amazing oppurtunity to score on, but Doblas somehow kept it out and prevented the ball from going into the back of the net.

One of the linesmen was hit my a bottle, though I believe it was out of plastic. There was also a smaller fight with Betis and Real Madrid-players.

The best Real Madrid-players for the night was clearly Reyes, Robinho, Higuían, Gago and Sergio Ramos. Gago finally showed how good he actually is when he's on the top of his game. Sergio Ramos should've scored like 3 times, but was denied by Doblas every single time. Higuían is playing great currently at Real Madrid, the opposite is his partner: Ruud van Nistelrooy who probably touched the ball twice or something tonight, was very bad :wtf:

Betis is a lot better than Deportivo Alaves though, and without Saviola, you would've been knocked out aswell.

:wtf:

We had Moggi and we did get relegated for cheating, now I don't really understand where this comes into the picture because it was a discussion about Barcelona, Real and their opponents.

I was just pointing out that you'll get knocked out if you're not playing better than you've done the last couple of games, and that's all.

Now stop being emo, Alex :haha:
