Honestly, that BBC documetry about The Century of the Self, made me realize what bull television programing we get here in North America. That documetry was so educational and intellectualy challending. It realy shows how a public broadcaster differs from a commerical broadcaster. |

| Oh for sure. As I said before. The press can't be fueled by money, because when they're fueled by money their stories will be shaped and bent to satisfy the people with money. |

the main source of income for the press is advertisers.
advertisers want as many people to pay attention to the press
so the press will publish stories that will get attention
more and more the quality of journalism becomes irrelevant, as long as the story has something to attract the attention of the public.
I've been reading too many articles with misleading spins, and sometimes outright false facts |

| quote: | | This is an amazing film that opens the door into what was really going on when the Kennedy Administration handled the Cuban Missile Crisis... as well as how Vietnam policy dramatically changed once Kennedy was no longer in office. Robert McNamara gives us 11 lessons that America needs to learn so that we don't make the same mistakes twice. |

| I'm going to start watching the Planet Earth series (720p rip). Out of the following eps, which do you guys believe to be the best? I've decided to watch Ice Worlds and Mountains first and I'd like some suggestions as to what to watch after those two. Thanks ;) |
