"Person Themed" restaurants are lame anyhow!
Apart from a certain hockey player's place in Toronto i was at this one time, the food wasn't fantastic, but hey, it filled me up and the staff were hotties. |

Why not use him? ...the history behind him, ( people know the name, and are fimiliar with him) the media, the press, the money they could rank it. It's all about tourist atractions these days, and though this may not be originally for tourists... think of the amount of people and money ( not to mention publicity) they'll probably get from this. Its just another money making idea , or publicity, which will lead to money. By the reactions just from TA and the people I have spoken with, it's getting a lot of talk here, think about over there what it'll do... |

I see and understand your point here.
On my mother's side of the family..pure Nazi's ( Well it stopped @ my mother and I) & on my Father side..Jews, so i've grown up with both point of views and both sides of the story...With saying that, I do think that people will see disrespect with this ( Just like making 9/11 movies over and over, who wants to relive the nightmare)....but some people just don't care about who it'll effect, as long as money is brought in, they think everyone will be satisfied. < NO that is not my opinion, im just saying in general) |

u know what? it makes me sick how some of them use anything related to their background to their advantage
ill give u an example
i worked at this store and the manager was a bitch....so one day in passing, i said "what a in work nazi"
the person i mentioned it to goes "HOW DARE U SAY THAT UR OFFENDING MY PEOPLE"
im like "wtf?"
she goes "IM JEWISH AND U TALKING LIKE THAT IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE"
this "jew" has no idea about her religion, culture, "homeland" as she was born and raised here, she doesnt communicate with her parents, her parents dont even follow any beliefs
this is one in SEVERAL cases where ive noticed such behaviour.
do u see me or any other Indian going around saying " THE BRITISH THEY HELD MY COUNTRY CAPTIVE FOR 400 YEARS AND MADE OUR MUSLIM PEOPLE BITE OFF THE PINS ON GRENADES GREASED WITH PIGS FAT JUST FOR OUR SPICES"???

I have a story along these lines...
I still have my Germany flag hanging in my office from the world cup ( i've just been to lazy to take it down) and some old women from the 2nd floor comes up to my door and says, " ahem, Tricia, I think it's very disrespectful that you have the German flag up when you know that the owners of this company as well as I are jewish." W.T.F Oh I know they are, but WTF. THE OWNER comes to my office everyday , sees the flag... HE doesnt say anything about it, Heck he's even a germany fan as well. I don't go marching around like a NAZI ( because im not one, nor would I even if I was). If I wanna leave it up there, I should be able to right, I mean it's not offence to anyone. Do Jews still believe that all German decendants are NAZI's
