Oh and something else I have noticed, more so living in Toronto than Montreal...
Taking me for an example....
Because I come from a family of Nazis...people automatically think I am as well. I don't show sign of being one, yet because my grandpa was hardcore... I am as well...I'll never get it. Also being " French " I am automatically a seperatist that want nothing to do with the rest of Canada.
Juts because my bloodline/backround happens to be a certain thing, doesn't mean that I fallow or practice anything that has to do with it. I see this happen all over Toronto. Sad really. |

Same here. Times have changed over the last 10 years. I don't recognize Montreal either anymore. Ville St-Laurent's demographics completely changed. Last winter I revisited Place Vertu, and holy f-ck. The world is changing... sign of the times. |

You know that old saying that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Well, there is a grain of truth to that. I'm not implying you're a Nazi, but that's how people generally think. |

Yes, I am familiar with that saying. For people to still think like that and to stereotype is quite sad. I'm not trying to defend myself, as I see no need to, but I show no signs of being a nazi. My bestfriend back home is Jewish, I work with a bunch of Jewish people... hmm let me see.. My Grandpa and my Dad are Jewish..so I suppose that makes me part Jewish...why would I be against "my own people"? Look all i'm saying is that there are some poeple out there who can't let go of the past and because of that they think that every German person is a Nazi, every Afgahnastani as a terrorist, or every Russian is a communist, etc. Some people are just close minded. |
