Do Jews still believe that all German decendants are NAZI's

WOW! This is exactly the kind of that pisses me off. People will create this overly sentimental attachment to anything even remotely symbolic, and cling to stupid ideas like that. I would have definitely said a word of two to that woman.

Again, I don't think anyone in this thread is bowing down to his superior intelect. Granted, a lot of Hitler's power had to do with "the right place at the right time". He found himself in a position of leadership when opposition was playing indecisive games. His brutal sieze of power gave Germany a direction. During the closing stages of the war, Hitler did make serious errors in troop deployments, but he was never a general to begin with, and he was not the one at the forefront of German victories at the opening of the war. Having said that, there were a number of factors as to why Germany began to be pushed back through the Eastern and Western fronts. In any case, I just wanted to make a point that people are far too attached to symbolics of a past generation. This thread itself is proof of the effectiveness of this advertising campaign. And that's all it is really. As said, this isn't a Hitler shrine. Its just a ploy to stir controversy and publicity, and I think its doing quite well. |

Most definately. I do believe you're right - that over maybe 10% or less of ppl on here who wanted to see PVD would be like "ope! hitler themed, NOPE, cant go, sorry, ill miss PVD" :haha: :haha:

+1, the stupidity and ignorance of what they said blows my mind. How can you equate merely a German flag alone to being offsenive to Jews w/o any other sort of context, which is what these women must be impling on some level to think that this flag warants being taken down. |

it's not like you had a swastika tatooed on your forhead with a shaved head and army boots on.
germany is a great country with a good culture. they are very aware of the past and want to improve their image. |

Albeit there are only approx. 5500 Jews in India and they have the freedom to do such a thing, it's just in real, real bad taste... |

UPDATE ON THE FLAG...
My boss came up to me and said " Martha was speaking to me about your flag...do you know why?" I replied yes and said she was ridiculous. So she said, " Why not hang more up , it'll piss her off and maybe she'll quit..i've been trying to get rid of her for months, she just won't leave and I have nothing against her to let her go"

You see, it's not ALL Jewish people, it's SOME. Just like any following, religion, colour, or political affiliation, etc. It's the bad apples that make the rest look bad.
So let's stop stereotypes, and take each person one by one, and not stereotype a whole community. I myself will make an effort, and be more sensitive to others. I hope others will too. |

| It's sad to think that with time it seems to get worse when it should be getting better. I understand some older people still strict to thier beliefs..but in all honesty, they only make it worse for the people who try to put it past them and try to forget the negativity so to say, im not saying forget your past and what you know has happened, but don't use it to your advantage and FFS people need to stop blaming one another for that happened before most of us were born. Yes it happened, but why have it part of your daily life when you don't need to. Who wants that type of stress? |
