We arrived at The Guv around 11pm, and stood in a very fast moving tent to the awesome electro pumping out of the tent. The fireworks and trampoline guys were great entertainment for the wait in line. Although it was my intention to catch Luke/Brad, the tunes in the tent were just way too good. Special mention goes to The Juan MacLean. This guy played the 2nd best set of the night for me. Great job!
Arrived in the Guv for Hernan. He was who I was looking forward to seeing the most, and boy did he not dissapoint. He built his set perfectly. The last 45 minutes of his set was pure progressive insanity. Set of the night for me.
As for Digweed, I have mixed feelings. Although during parts of his set, he had my dancing my ass off, I found the first half pretty boring, and the second half excessively hard and dark. It was almost as if he was trying waaaaay too hard to be as dark/serious as possible. Lighten up a little Digweed!
I caught about 10 minutes of Benny when I decided to leave. He just wasn't doing it for me. Apparently there was an imposter in the Kool Haus saying that he was me. I hope you guys didn't believe him. As if I would ever listen to trance set! :p
Overall, this party gets a big meh from me. This doesn't even come close to last year's Labour of Love for me. The only advantage that this one had is that it wasn't as packed as last year. |

yah right, the only way those mothering bouncers would do that is if they charge em $5 each to get IN to K/H, like they tried to do to me!!! |
