I got to the Guv for 8:45 and of course there wasnt a guestlist lineup yet. Waited for it to open and helped my friends get in then waited for Sean to arrive (as i promised i would). Then got in the Guv very quickly probly around 9:45, found my friends and got settled.
Mark Oliver - always plays a good opening set. He started the night off with a good vibe
Digweed - Amazing from what i heard... he needs to losen up when dj'n tho
Armin - Amazing set!! I only heard about an hour HIGHLIGHTS: 2 devine - Black is the colour (mojo remix) and Eric Prydz vs Pink Floyd - Proper Education(my fav right now)
Simon Jain - Good set... I personally love his style and personality behind the decks.
Dekoze - Didnt stay long for his set.... played some trance????
Rest of Local tent - Most of them had better vibes going then the Internation dj's
Ferry - What can i say... i am not into Ferry anymore.
Benny B - Boring.... was all over the place, but better than the last time i saw him.
Junkie XL - Boring.... way better set last time i saw him. He played the usuals Coldplays 'Talk' and Beastie Boys 'Fight for your right'
SURPISE OF THE NIGHT: the dj's i was unaware of in the tent outside.... Tommie Sunshine.... and Boyz Noise.... WIKKID dirty beatz. They had the tent outside going nuts until 8am.
Things that bugged me from the night:
1)The Drink - That was the sketchiest room ever... over packed and took 1/2 hour to walk through to get to the SkybarThe
2) Gallery - I walked though the room and it was so dark i was weirded out by it
3) Benny B was the final act in the Guv main room.... not the right person to keep people dancing after a long night.
4)Having my assed grabbed to many time... mostly by men (grr)
Over all I was lost most of the night as normal, and last years L.o.L had better dj/sets.... but this year alot of friends actually made it out. |

I caught Digweed’s set from start to finish and I would not have even dared to leave the Guvernment while he was playing. Its so funny because he looks like he might as well be DJing in his bedroom, going by the way he seems so oblivious to the hundreds of people partying around him.
I really liked Armins’ set! Some people here seem a little let down...not enough of Justine Suissa’s vocals I guess.
Best of all was knowing that so many cool, friendly people were have a blast that night. |

JUNKIE XL was DEF my ing favourite of the night. For the almost hour he was on, he ING KILLED ME!
Loved his set, got me so energized and moving! Brilliant.
Armin and Ferry for some reason were only meh to me... I always love their ing sets, but when I see them live of late, they dont inspire me to wanna dance and get into the vibe anymore like they used too :( that im saying that about armin is particularly sad for me. :sadgreen:

Nah, i wont kill u for that... i think I shold wondered around and left the KH when i found the trance in there from armin and ferry wasnt doing it for me!
i wouldnt have wanted to do any dnb, but i could have done w/ some house i think. next labour, or next party, i may have check out more of hte house DJs i think!

Cant blame you though, I was beat up as hell too... my feet were in such pain! god, worst pain they've been in since a year ago before i got my orthotics, thats for sure! That really contributed to make my night so blasé. |

^^ This was MOST DEFINITELY my favourite and best surprise of this year's Labour, seeing Baki out. Its been a few months, but damn man, you always put a smile on my face baki! You're a ing solid guy!

Can anyone confirm/deny that Armin in fact played John O'Callahagn & Bryan Kearney - Exactly?
I re-read the entire thread and only one person said that he did. I didn't hear it and I don't remember leaving the Kool Haus the entire time he was on. I took a video during pretty much every song I wanted to hear but don't have one for that track. |

Yooo I could barely even dance near the end because my feet were sticking to the floor and I was stepping on all sorts of ...I could barely even keep my rhythem bc I was falling or sticking everywhere!! :whip:
